Comment utiliser Nokosu et réponses aux questions fréquentes

The basics

Write a text memo

Tap the "+" button at the bottom right to open a text field at the bottom. Type your note and tap the checkmark to save.

The field clears after saving, so you can keep jotting down the next one (blank-only notes can’t be saved).

Add a photo as a memo

Use the toolbar to the left of the "+" button. The camera button takes a photo on the spot; the photos button picks from your library (you can select several at once).

Edit and read memos

Tap a text memo to open it full screen. Tap the body to edit; saving updates the same memo (it doesn’t create a new one).

In the list, memos longer than 10 lines show a “Show more” link so you can expand and read them in place.

Organizing

Group memos into a folder

Long-press a memo (about 0.7s), drag it onto another memo, and release — a new folder is created automatically with both memos inside.

To make an empty folder first, use the add-folder button in the header and give it a name (you can leave the name blank).

Create subfolders Pro

Inside a folder, the same actions (stacking memos or the add-folder button) create subfolders, nested as deep as you like.

Note: creating folders at the second level and deeper is a Nokosu Pro feature. Subfolders you already have stay viewable and editable without Pro.

Reorder and move items

Long-press a card to drag it. Move it up or down to reorder, drop it onto a folder to move it inside, or drop it on the back button to move it to the parent folder.

Mark favorites Pro

Long-press a memo or folder and choose “Add to favorites”, or tap the ★ at the top right of the detail screen. Review them all from “Favorites” in the sidebar.

Favorites is a Nokosu Pro feature.

Find a memo

Tap the magnifier icon in the header. It searches memo text and folder names by partial match (case-insensitive).

Photo memos have no text, so they aren’t included in search results.

Act on several items at once

Enter selection mode with the multi-select button in the header. Tap memos to check them (“Select all” is available too), then delete or move them in bulk from the bar at the bottom.

Deleting and restoring

Restore a deleted memo

Deleted memos and folders are kept in the Trash for 7 days. Open “Trash” in the sidebar and swipe a row left to choose Restore or Delete permanently. After 7 days they’re purged automatically.

Note: an empty folder isn’t sent to the Trash — it’s deleted right away and can’t be restored.

Customizing

Change the appearance (themes) Pro

In “Theme” in the sidebar, choose from five themes: Light, Dark, Beige, Navy, and White. Your choice applies to the whole app instantly.

Light is free. The other four — Dark, Beige, Navy, and White — are Nokosu Pro features.

Change the font size

In “Memo size” in the sidebar, choose from five levels: Extra small, Small, Standard, Large, and Extra large (a free feature).

Start typing the moment the app opens Pro

Turn on “Quick Input” in the sidebar and the keyboard opens automatically when you launch the app, so you can start writing right away.

Quick Input is a Nokosu Pro feature.

Sync and migration

Sync across multiple devices Pro

Turn on “Real-time sync” in the sidebar to sync your memos across devices signed in with the same Apple ID, via iCloud (CloudKit). It’s off by default (local only).

Real-time sync is a Nokosu Pro feature.

Move your data to a new device

Nokosu stores your memos on your device. When you switch phones, your data carries over via iOS Quick Start (direct device-to-device transfer) or by restoring from an iCloud backup.

If you want your devices to stay in sync continuously, use Nokosu Pro’s real-time sync.

Nokosu Pro

What Nokosu Pro unlocks

With Nokosu Pro (¥350/month, with a 7-day free trial) you unlock the following:

Favorites / subfolders (unlimited nesting) / all 5 themes / real-time sync across devices / Quick Input / saving captured photos to your Photos library.

The free plan already covers memos, photos, folders, search, and the Trash.

Cancel Nokosu Pro

You can cancel anytime. On the Pro screen, tap the “cancel here” link to open Apple’s “Manage Subscriptions” sheet and cancel from there.

You can also cancel from the iOS Settings app → your Apple Account (at the top) → Subscriptions → Nokosu Pro.

Cancelling never deletes your data, such as memos and favorites. You keep access until the current period ends.

Restore a purchase

If Pro doesn’t appear after switching devices or reinstalling, tap “Restore purchases” at the bottom of the Pro screen.
